Commission weighs casino future

The President Casino will be the subject of a special meeting of the Missouri Gaming Commission this morning in St. Louis.
The five-member board that regulates casinos is trying to shut down the ailing riverboat for its poor financial performance, a move the President’s owner, Pinnacle Entertainment, is fighting.
Last week, a state appeals court rebuffed an earlier Gaming Commission vote that required Pinnacle to re-apply for its license before it could move, repair or replace the Admiral riverboat, which houses the casino my credit score.
